Bud Brewer, a native of Ohio
who moved to the Adair area from
Tulsa in 1974, died May 12 at the
Colonial Terrace Nursing Center
in Pryor at the age of 90.
He married Essie Back on Aug.
16, 1940 in Grove.
Bud enjoyed gardening and
working in his yard.
SERVICES: Will be held at 2 p.m.
Monday, May 16 at the First Baptist
Church of Adair. Casketbearers will
include Mick Back, Rick Peper, E.C.
Peper, Steve Bowman, Scott Morey, and
David Fritz. Rev. Claude Strong will officiate
and interment will follow in the Adair
Cemetery. Arrangements are under the
direction of Shipman's Funeral Home of
Pryor.
BORN: March 25, 1915 in Middletown,
Ohio to Ballard and Mary (Back) Brewer.
DIED: May 12, 2005 in Pyor.
SURVIVORS: His wife, Essie; a son
(Jim and Sue Brewer of Fairfield, Ohio);
two daughters (Rosalie and David Fritz of
Trego, Montana, and Debbie and Roger
Bowman of Adair); five grandchildren; 10
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in
death by his parents, two brothers, two
sisters and a granddaughter, Lori
Bowman.
