"Caty" Wilder (as she was named in the Leominster Record of Births), was born May 2nd, 1785 to James Wilder (1758-1842) and Catherine Richardson (1763-1842).

In 1810 she married the Capt. Thomas Beckford (ca.1772-1820). Beckford and his wife had two daughters, Catherine Richardson Beckford (b. 1812) and Lucretia A. Beckford (b.1816). Capt. Beckford, commander of the ship Saco out of Boston, died "at Mocha" in February 1820.

Caty Wilder married Loammi Baldwin Jr. June 22, 1828.
