Aljuana Baker Edwards, 92, formerly of Cherryville, transitioned peacefully on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.
She was a daughter to the late Willam and Augusta Fox Baker. She graduated from the Lincoln County School System and Johnson C. Smith University. She was a member of Pine Street Presbyterian Church and served as a Elder.
She was affectionately known as "Tootsie".
Interment in Pine Street Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
