Walter Eugene "Gene" Brower
Graveside services for Walter Eugene (Gene) Brower, 63, West Plains, were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Olden, Mo., under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Brower died at 7:07 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, in Ozarks Medical Center. He was born on Nov. 26, 1942, in Pomona, Mo., to Viola Jane Brower.
On April 29, 1972, he was married at West Plains, Mo., to Glenda Lue Trail who preceded him in death on Sept. 24, 2002. Mr. Brower was a veteran, having served with the U.S. Navy, and had been employed by the city of West Plains. He was a member of the West Plains Car Club and the Pentecostal Revival Center.
He is survived by four brothers, Henry Green and wife, Debbie, Joe Green and wife, Missy, and David Green all of West Plains and Bill Green of Jefferson City, Mo.; two step-sisters, Helen Woods and Marie Johnson both of West Plains; his mother-in-law, Ida Mae Trail of West Plains; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, wife, one brother, one sister and one infant sister precede him in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
