Mrs. Alta L Bisher, 73, 721 Washington Street, died early Sunday Morning at Munson hospital following a brief illness.
Alta L. Smith was born in Delta, Ohio, April 25, 1890 and spent her early years in that community. August 2, 1908,she was married to Frank Bisher and the couple moved to Hudson, Michiga, Where they spent many years. Mr. Bisher preceded her in death in 1939.
Surviving ar two daughter, Mrs. Harold Whaley and Mrs. Harry Swan [Dorothy Irene], both of this city: two sons, Tom of Munsfield, Ohio and Frank of Tecumseh: two sisters, Mrs. Oddice Kane of Hudson and Mrs. Herman Snyder of Pittsford; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and many other relatives. A Son, Daniel preceded her in death in 1959.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 at the Hibbard chapel with the Rev. Robert Derby, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be made in the family lot in Oakwood Cemetery.
