Georgia formerly of Aragon, Georgia passed away Friday, August 7, 2015.
Miss Turner was born March 23, 1950 in Rockmart, daughter of the late Wesley Melvin Turner and the late Georgia Spinks Turner. She was a graduate of the Rockmart High School Class of 1970 and was a member of the Euharlee Primitive Baptist Church. Delle retired from Fred’s Discount Store with 17 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Nancy Poole
Funeral services for Miss Turner will be held on Sunday, August 9th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Elder Joseph Hayes, Elder Marty Smith and Brother Larry Andrews officiating. Interment services will follow in the family lot of the Aragon Cemetery.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Wayne West, Drew Childers, David Childers, Mark Mayfield, Pat Jones, Larry Turner and Eddie Waters.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Curtis Spinks and Billy Greeson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, August 8th between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 p.m.
