The O'Bannion family seems to have been associated w/the Marshes in KY, and migrated north into IN with them. In earlier years, Arey and John lvd at Alexandria, IN (where they deeded a piece of land for a cemetery; it's possible that ther son-in-law, Thomas Foster Young and two young ch are bu there; there are no records for the cemetery, however); in later years, they res Rigdon, Grant Co., IN. Sometime in the 1860's, they mvd to NE; they were southern sympathizers, so left IN for NE where their politics were less offensive to their neighbors.
