She married the love of her life Quentin Reed Sr. and to this union 1 son: Quentin Jr. was born. She worked alongside Quentin Sr. for many years as a Clerk at the family owned Reed's Hardware. She also enjoyed her career working for the Selective Service. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stilwell for many years where she played the piano for 19 years.
Sis was preceded in death by her parents; George and Eva Bean, her husband; Quentin Reed Sr. and brother; Edward Bean.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her son; Quentin Reed Jr. of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. James Duffell officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery.
