Elizabeth Frazee Potts, 91, joined her Lord in heaven on September 4, 2015. She was born March 10, 1924 in Willow Springs, MO to DeRoy and Ruth (Bales) Frazee. She earned her BBA in 1943 at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO and was recipient of their Life Service Award in 1984. Elizabeth and her beloved husband, Wayne, were true entrepreneurs traveling the country bartering, buying and selling numerous goods and businesses finally settling down as owners of the Beacon Lodge in Snyder, Texas in 1959. Upon the sudden death of Wayne in 1968, she began her real estate career culminating in the founding and success of Elizabeth Potts Realtors Oklahoma in Snyder where she worked as Broker/Realtor. She loved to help people find not just a house but a home. She was very active in Snyder as a member of The First Baptist Church where she served on numerous committees and taught Sunday School. She was also elected to the Chamber of Commerce and was the first women to serve as President of the Chamber of Commerce and member of the "Goldcoaters" earning dedicated service awards and the Bill Vestal Mayor Award for Community Development. She was involved with Western Texas College and co-founded the White Buffalo Days city-wide festival which continues to this day. Elizabeth moved to Oklahoma City in 1998. She joined Village Baptist Church and was active in the Prime Time Choir, WMU and served as a greeter at the Welcome Desk. She was a former board member of Baptist Village and volunteered with Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children. Among Elizabeth's numerous interest and hobbies were meeting people, experiencing new cultures through her world travels, reading and playing cards especially Rook with her family. Her life joys were her five boys, and talked often of "the joys of raising boys." Her grandchildren held her heart. Her love for the Lord was paramount in her life and encompassed all she her decisions and actions. It was her relationship with her Savior Jesus Christ and her faith in Him that sustained her through the loss of her husband and all of her life experience. Her stated heart's desire was for all her friends and family to have a relationship with Jesus and be with her in Heaven someday.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, DeRoy & Ruth Frazee, husband, Wayne, and sister, Pauline Yardley.

Her legacy will carry on through her five sons, Lloyd Potts and wife Catherine of Georgetown, TX, Ron Potts and wife Carol of Plano, TX, Randy Potts and wife Lisa of Dallas, TX, Robert Potts and wife Beckie of Oklahoma City, and Clint Potts and wife Cindy of Austin, TX; sister, Norma Denney of Wisconsin; Grandchildren, Wayne and wife Amber, Suzanne, Catherine, Brennan and his wife, Jenna, Barry and his wife, Kelly, Jeff and his wife, Amy, Jenna, Christopher, Caleb, Chiana, Courtney, Shaun Cussen and his wife Kathleen, Molly DelBosque and her husband Danny, Tim Cussen. Her great-grandchildren Autumn, Emily, Presley, Alex, Charlie, Patrick, Jake and Maggie. She also leaves behind many "children" and friends who loved her deeply.

Viewing will be Friday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services celebrating her life will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Missouri Veteran's Cemetery, Springfield, MO on September 18, 2015.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children.
