Emily Evelyn Branham Lawson, 84, of Pelham, NC died September 4, 2015 at Danville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Lawson was born in Ridgeway, SC on April 20, 1931 a daughter of Bennie Rich Branham and Ola Mae Kelly Branham.
Mrs. Lawson worked in Dan River Mills. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She was first married to Curtis Washington Hyatt then she married Charley Odell Lawson, both deceased.
Survivors include three sons, Curtis William Hyatt (Vickie); Harrison Hyatt, (Terri); Riley Lawson; a daughter, Francine Hyatt-Davis, (Ronald); two step-daughters, Susan Lawrence, Cynthia Lawson; three sisters, Ellen Downs, Roberta Loveland, and Lillie Cooper. In addition to her husbands she was predeceased by a step-son, George Lawson, five sisters, and one brother.
Interment will be in Overlook Cemetery in Eden, NC.
