JENELLA RUTH HULL:

Jenella Ruth Hull, 84 years old, of Liberty, formally of Jefferson City and Ottumwa, Iowa, died Thursday, January 20, 2011, in Liberty.

Mrs. Hull was born April 6, 1926, in Otley, iowa, the daughter of John and Cornelia Kleinendorst Leydens. She married Paul Hull Jr., a career officer in the United States Army, on June 20, 1956 and he presented her in death on May 3, 1997.

A 1944 graduate of Pella High School in Pella, Iowa, Jenella worked at Union Bank in Ottumwa after graduation.

Jenella was a fabulous mother and homemaker, raising her children and working as a teachers aide at Waddell Elementary in Columbus, Georgia, where her children attended school.

Upon moving to Jefferson City, Jenella worked as a loan officer for fifteen years at the Missouri State Employees Credit Union, retiring in 1993. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

Jenella enjoyed crocheting, cooking and travel. She took trips to Europe, the Caribbean and Alaska with her brother and sister. Jenella resided in her later years in Liberty at Our Lady Of Mercy Country Home.

Surviving are two sons, Timothy Paul (Jeannie) Hull of Liberty and Thomas John (Kemi) Hull of Ottumwa, Iowa, four grandchildren, Garrett Timothy Hull and McKenzie Elizabeth Hull, both of Liberty, Quintin Paul Hull and Trey Nicholas Hull, both of Ottumwa, Iowa, a brother, Harold Lee (Frances) Leydens of Jefferson City.

Mrs. Hull was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Cornelia Hull, a sister and brother-in-law, Bea and Eli Rosenman.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, January 25, at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, Iowa with Pastor Tim Ward officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Ottumwa. Visitation will begin at 11:00am Monday, January 24, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

Donations may be made in Jenella's name to Our Lady of Mercy Country Home.
