Rose Helen Huston Linnartz, age 95, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2010 in San Antonio. She was born on November 25, 1914 in San Antonio, Texas, to parents, Della Bonnet Huston and Jay Minter Huston.

She graduated from St. Henry's High School at age 15 as the Valedictorian. Mrs. Linnartz then went on to attend the University of the Incarnate Word. Rose married Leroy Paul Linnartz on October 23, 1935.

She was preceded in death by, husband, Leroy; sons, Billy and Danny. She is survived by daughter, Rose Lee Hoelscher and husband, Donald; son, Larry Linnartz and wife, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Sharon Linnartz; grandchildren, Deanna Hoelscher and husband Steve Kelder, Gretchen Stepke and husband Tim, John Hoelscher and wife, Debbie, Julie Weber and husband Tom, Chip Linnartz and wife Karen, Missy Linnartz, and Chelyne Leifeste and husband Jim; great-grandchildren, Andrew Montgomery, Abby Montgomery, Ben Kelder, Anthony Stepke, Katie Stepke, John Wesley Hoelscher, Matthew Hoelscher, Claire Weber, Emma Weber, Huston Kerlick, Madeleine Linnartz, and Sarah Linnartz; sister, Betty Kiley and husband Bill; brother, Pat Huston and wife Jenny Lou; numerous nieces and nephews.
