Bertha was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed dancing, music and playing bingo. Bertha will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Martin Kirby Eberwein and three sisters, Pearly Shepard, Sarah Ewald and Jeanette Russell.
Those left to mourn her loss were her husband of 54 years, Leslie H. Hayes; four daughters, Shirley (Gary) Rutledge, Sharon (Earl) Fisher, Sherry (David) Miller and Leslie Bricker; one son, Paul Eberwein; one sister, Mildred Stratenberger; 15 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
The family was served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME that also generated her obituary on-line.
