Charles William (Chuckie) Spargo was born on Dec. 14, 1947 to William and Gladys Spargo, at the home of his grandparents Charles and Tryphona Schrader, all of Watersmeet, Mi. He was their second child. I was his older sister Judith (Judy) and was only four at the time of his birth so I really don't remember him. My parents never spoke much about Chuckie but I would go with my Mom when she took care of his grave. All I was ever told is that his lungs were not fully developed and he had complications during birth. Charles had a very short time on this earth as he went home to be with Jesus on Dec. 16, 1947. I wish I could have known my little brother but it wasn't meant to be, God needed a very special angel in His presence. So I know that Chuckie is with Him and someday I will get to know him. Thankfully God gave me another brother, Roger, three years later. He, too, has joined the realms of angels and someday I will see him again. May both of my brothers be resting peacefully and know that some day we will all be together again.
