Claudia Frances Rose, 100 of Hemet, California passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at home surrounded by family.
She was born on Thursday, July 22, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Luke and Emma " Swilling" Tedder. Claudia always loved to tell the story that at the age of 9 her parents traveled to Texas from Oklahoma in a covered wagon. Just last month in July she celebrated her 100th birthday and had 80 guests that were part of her milestone. She was so happy and enjoyed seeing all her family and friends. Claudia loved to dance, travel all over the US. She like to crochet, play a little at the local casinos and go to church. Her family describes her as quiet and reserved, very family oriented and gracious. She will be sorely missed by those that knew and loved her. She was married to the late Frank Gentry for 43 years , then married the late John Rose for 8 years. Surviving are sons, daughters, 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Services will be at Sierra View Memorial Park in Marysville, CA.
