He was a retired pipe fitter from CSX, a LCPL Marine Corps Veteran and a farmer.
He is survived by
his wife of 55 years, Myrtle Workman Turley;
two sons, John (Pam) Turley of Proctorville, OH and Steve Turley of Lithia Springs, GA;
three daughters, Sonya (Dwayne) Phillips of Crown City, OH, Misty (John) Knight of Ona, WV and Paula (Terry) Duty of Proctorville, OH;
nine grandchildren including a special granddaughter Stacie Fuller;
a special grandson, Jay Turley who assisted in his care; nine great grandchildren;
one brother, Harold (Patty) Turley of Crown City, OH;
three sisters, Deloris (Bobby) Williams of Crown City, OH, Kathleen Watson of Crown City, OH and Betty Turley of Proctorville, OH;
in-laws, Charlotte (Larry) Burcham of Proctorville, OH, Lucille Walters of Crown City, OH, Erma and Tom Larimer of North Port, FL, and Virginia Phipps of Portsmouth, OH;
many nieces and nephews.
