Mrs. Brenda Sue Waldrop Lockhart Dockery, age 64, of Temple, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015. She was born December 10, 1950 in Douglas County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Raymond Waldrop and the late Mrs. Clara Bell Dobbs Waldrop. She was a retired Childcare Provider. Mrs. Dockery was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, grandparents, Clifford and Iula Dobbs, Pearl and James Ervie Waldrop; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Bertha Rose Dockery, and a number of extended relatives.
She is survived by her husband, Joel Ivory Dockery of Temple; sons, Matthew and Sheila Lockhart of Dallas, Corey and Catherine Lockhart of Bowdon, Joel, Jr. and Marlana Dockery of Bremen; sister, Marie W. Allen of Carrollton; ten grandchildren; and extended family and in-laws also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral. Interment will follow at Powell Chapel Cemetery.
