Funeral services for Ann Judson Hankins, 85, of Millport were held Saturday at Dowdle Funeral Home. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery. She died on July 23, 1998 at her home. She was a native of Marion County. She was retired from Bryce Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lee Hankins; her sister, Lydia Carolyn Cantrell; and her brothers, Cameron Luthern Brown, Elihue "Al" Brown, and Thomas Leland Brown. Survivors include her daughter, Dwan McDill of Millport; her son, Hugh Brown Cantrell of Columbus, Mississippi; her brothers, Carley Anthon Brown of Hamilton, William Heflin Brown of Carrollton, and Duward Brown of Columbus, Mississippi; her sister, Sylvia Cairlou Luker of Selma; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
