PEKIN ~ Patricia Elaine Dill, 68, of 910 North 4th Street, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria.

Born May 4, 1938 in Olney to Harold Wilson and Janet Evelyn (Lambeth) Greenwood, she married Donald Lee Hudson on May 8, 1955 in Pekin. She later married Winfred Franklin Scott in 1963 in Pekin. She then married Henry "Hank" Dill in 1978 in Peoria. He died April 4, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother (Terry G. Greenwood).

Surviving are one daughter, Vickie L. (Donald) Kierson of Midlothian, Virginia; one son, Gregory W. (Dana) Scott of Pekin; step-father, Bernie Koons of Rineyville, Kentucky; three step-sons, Brian Dill of Florida, Craig Dill of Seattle, Washington, and Dr. Jeff (Tonya) Dill of Pekin; two grandchildren, Bradley M. Rizzo of Richmond, Virginia and Meredith L. Rizzo of Midlothian, Virginia; five step-grandchildren; and three sisters, Sheila S. (James) Kent of Indiana, Linda F. (Joe) Hoerr and Becky J. "B.J." (Wally) Fribbs, both of Pekin. She also leaves a special friend, Gordon Hocker of Pekin and a cousin, Larry Mangel of North Carolina, who was raised with her.

Patricia worked for the Tazewell County Resource Center for 14 ½ years as a CNA at Mississippi CILA in Morton and Golden Arms and Parkway CILA, both in Pekin. She last worked in October 2005.

She was a former member of Liberty Baptist Church in Pekin and had been a Girl Scout leader in Pekin for 10 years. She had enjoyed bowling and crocheting in years past.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2006 at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Michael R. McLeod will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4234 North Knoxville Avenue, Peoria, Illinois 61614.
