Janet M. "Jenny" McDaniel departed this life for eternal rest August 4.

She was a daughter of the late William Biggs and Burnetta Celia (Utermahlen) Cole.

"Jenny" attended Harvest Time Temple, Hanover. As a young woman, she was employed at Bittinger's Canning Company, Hanover, and later with Cross Keys Motor Inn. What she enjoyed most in life was being a loving mother to her five children and being a devoted grandmother and greatgrandmother.

Her survivors include two daughters, Kathy Y. King of Landisville, and Karen L. Storm and her husband, Wayne of Hanover; three sons, Theodore P. McDaniel, Gregory L. McDaniel, and George W. McDaniel, all of Hanover; a sister, Margaret Bixler of Hanover; a brother, Carl Cole of Frizzleburg, MD; a half brother, Oren Cole of Spring Grove; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, George Cole.
