Funeral services for Mr. Tony Lee Garrett, 45, of Rickman, were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2000, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Jenkins officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Garrett, an employee of the City of Livingston, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at Livingston Regional Hospital. Born July 29, 1954, in Overton County, he was the son of Dulcie (Cooper) Garrett of Livingston and the late Castle Lee Garrett.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a fiance, Pam Rush, Rickman; a son, Damien Garrett, Livingston; two daughters, Olivia Ledbetter, Monterey, and Heather Abston, Clarkrange; three step-children, Ashley, Jamie and Kelly; two brothers, Harold Fletcher and Mike Garrett, both of Livingston; a sister, Edith Newkirk, Kansas City, MO; and five grandchildren.
