Donald Lee "Duck" Ayres, 66, of Walton, died May 6, 2005, at his home.
He was a retired electrician and a member of New Liberty Baptist Church, Petersburg Masonic Lodge No. 926, Scottish Rite Valley of Covington and American Legion Post No. 277.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Wyatt Ayres; a son, Jeff Ayres; a stepson, Lennie Whalen of Walton; a sister, Janice Smoot of Owenton; and two grandchildren.
Services were May 9 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton. Cremation was at Northern Kentucky Mortuary Service, Walton.
Memorial donations may be made to Relay for Life, in care of Owen Electric, 8206 Highway 127, Owenton 40359.
