Mom had many talents, cake decoration, cooking, quilting, sewing, to metion a few. She also enjoyed Square Dancing, traveling, and camping with family and friends. She was a faithful member of the L.D.S. church. She had many callings over the years. Relief Society Presidency, also in many primary teaching and Presidency callings. She also worked for many years as a nursery school teacher. Loved by all as "miss Darlene". Parkview Nursery School in Salt Lake City.

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole,

They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious. unknown author
