Kenneth Robert Wells, age 71, died June 2, 1998 in Kearns, Utah.
Born January 25, 1927 in Bingham Canyon, Utah, son of George Ralph and Elva Geraldine Hawkins Wells. Married Margaret Ann Davies June 5, 1947 in Bingham Canyon, Utah. Charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Veteran of World War II where he served two and one half years in the Aleutian Islands and was a 23 year member of American Legion Post 132. Retired as a warehouseman with Theatre Candy after 48 years of service.
Survived by wife, Margaret, Kearns; children, Stan (Susie), Lake Point; Les (Chris), Kearns; Cheryle King, Kearns; Susan (Greg) Burton, West Jordan; Cindy (Brett) Hayes, Kearns; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Genevieve Hardy, American Fork; Vivian Swain, California. Preceded in death by sisters, Marilyn Stuckenschneider and Joyce Stoddard.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, 10 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 4290 West 5415 South. Friends may call Friday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Mt. Olivet.
