Dorothy Minnich McKinnon, Age 93 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away August 30, 2015. Dorothy was born in Allentown, PA on May 23, 1922 on a covered wagon on her way to visit her grandparents. She was the daughter of George & Margaret Rickert Minnich and the wife of Bill McKinnon who passed away on Oct. 31, 1985.
She spent her last 20 years with her family, Rusty McKinnon and his wife, Marsha, his 2 sons, Marc McKinnon and Travis McKinnon & great granddaughter, Meagan McKinnon in Boynton Beach, FL. Dorothy lived in Allentown for 70 years and was a member of Emmanuel Assembly of God. She was the last survivor of 4 sisters, Evelyn Geary, Kitty Klase, Betty Lindenmuth, Jeanette Hallman and a brother, Bill Minnich & their husbands & wife, John Geary, Dick Klase, Robert Lindenmuth, Donald Hallman & Marie Minnich. A better mother or friend you could never have, a blessing and a sense of humor that had you laughing after 2 minutes of meeting her. She will be missed terribly and a joy to those who preceded her to heaven.
Services: The Memorial Service will be held at Emmanuel Assembly of God, 1431 Lehigh Parkway E., Allentown, PA on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial.
