Sadly Minerva only lived 1 year, 10 months, 26 days. Lived in what was Pennsbury at that time then in September 1849 the petition his father and 27 others created the year prior, was approved and Pocopson Township was created. The name Pocopson came from Pocaupsing, the Indian name for roaring waters.

Since she past away young, her parents named a later daughter Minerva.
