Mrs. Bessie McGarry, 74, of Woodsfield, died Sunday morning, March 3, 1974, at two o'clock, in Barnesville Hospital, after an illness.

Born in Monroe County, July 30, 1899, she was the daughter of George W. and Anna E. Dougherty Gray.

Mrs. McGarry was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters and their spouses ; two grandsons and four great grandchildren.

Her husband, Capel McGarry, died September 19, 1950.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock in the Gardner Funeral Home with Rev. George Bender officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery.
