Died: September 03, 2015

Michelle Lee Martin, 48, of Manchester passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, September 3, 2015 from a brain stem tumor. Michelle was born October 15, 1966 in Pensacola, FL, and she was the daughter of Linda D. Warner and stepdaughter of David M. Warner. She was the mother of Sy Paul Rossi, a graduate of Lebanon Valley College, who resides in Annville, PA.

Michelle attended several deaf education schools in Anne Arundel County, while later she attended the Maryland School for the Deaf in Frederick, and was a 1985 graduate of North Carrol High School; where she was proud to be both the first deaf graduate and cheerleader. After graduation, she worked as a computer operator for the former Carroll County Bank and Trust Company and Farmers and Merchants Bank. She was retired from Manchester Valley High School where she was a Food Service worker. In addition, she had volunteered in the school’s sign language classes. Michelle passed peacefully at her parent’s home surrounded by family as she had wished.

A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel and the funeral arrangements are by the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., both of Manchester. The family deeply appreciates the comfort and help of Carroll Hospice, their neighbors, the kind thoughts of our friends, and those Michelle knew in the deaf community.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157
