Mr. Jeffrey G. Brandt, of Reedsburg, passed at the age of 58 years 4 months and 2 days on Monday, August 31, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield having battled an illness the last couple of years. Jeffrey, the son of Gilbert and Caroline (Lange) Brandt, was born on April 29, 1957, in Reedsburg, and graduated from Reedsburg Webb High School the class of 1975.
He worked at Zinke’s grocery store in Wisconsin Dells for several years and later he delivered newspapers in Reedsburg.
He was an active participant with the Reedsburg Fire Department taking photos for them. And he was an active lifelong member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church serving on the Board of Stewardship and faithfully attending Bible class.
He was well known for his Christmas decorations on his home and won the Chamber of Commerce Award last year in Reedsburg. He enjoyed doing crafts and helping out ladies at craft shows. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sister; Debra Badgerow of Clovis, NM
Cousins, Aunts and many friends.
Memorial services will be conducted on Friday, September 18, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Reedsburg, with Pastor Paul Crolius officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 A.M. until the time of service.
Memorials of remembrance may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Hardship Fund.
