Lena Marie Collins Rose, age 57, of Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at her home.
She was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and member of the Temple Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter Toshya.
Survivors include loving husband of 41 years, Curtis T. Rose; daughter, Amanda Rose Vance and husband Jamie; nine grandchildren; brother, Paul Collins and wife Jennifer; sister, Janie Ford and husband Ralph; several nieces and nephews.
A joint memorial service for Marie and her daughter Toshya will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at Temple Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Collins officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Temple Freewill Baptist Church, 749 Randolph St., Bristol, Va.

Toshya Millhorn,39, step-father James Millhorn, 36 and grandmother, Lena Rose, 57 were all fatally wounded at home around 5:45 p.m. When officers responded to the scene Saturday evening, Toshya Millhorn and Lena Rose were found dead on the scene.
