Frank Xavier Haegle, 89, old time resident of this community, passed away in a Glendive Hospital on Monday. he is reported to have been in poor health for the past several years. He had made his home with his son, Anthony, on Broadview Bench.
He was born December 14, 1863 in Baden, Germany. He immigrated with his family and settle near Mankato MN until 1877, when he moved with his family to a farm near Adrian MN, where he resided until 1917. He was united in marriage March 10, 1892, to Ida Sieren, and to this union six daughters and fours sons were born. He was preceded in death by one daughter and one son.
She is survived by his widow, five daughters, Mary of Warm Springs, Applonia Braun of Suk Rapids MN, Anna Nichols of Hosington KS, Rosella Gallus, and Frances Trulock of Glendive; and three sons, Joseph of Pipestone MN, John of Veri MN, and Anthony of Terry. He is also survived by one brother, Charles of Souix Falls SD.
