Anna Schenaman, 102, of Gering, formerly of Scottsbluff, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at the Heritage Estates in Gering.

Anna was born May 10, 1904 at Rosenburg, Russia, the daughter of Alexander and Mary Katherine (Ruppel) Schwartzkopf. At the age of 8 months, she moved with her parents to Longmont, CO. At the age of 5, they moved to Scottsbluff.

She was united in marriage to Fred Schenaman, Feb. 4, 1923 at Scottsbluff. They lived in Milwaukee, WI. for 7 years before moving back to Scottsbluff.

She was a charter member of the Salem Congregational Church. Anna enjoyed her Church, family activities such as dinners, holiday gatherings and cooking German dishes and her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1974, daughter Dorothy Crasco in 2006, son-in-law Reuben Debus, a great grandson, a great granddaughter, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff.
