Sandra M. Oliver, age 71 of Bendersville, PA and formerly of Shade Valley, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Gettysburg Center Genesis, Gettysburg, PA. She was born on May 19, 1944 in Perulack, PA, the youngest daughter of the late Orlando J. and Mabel B. (Diven) Vaughan.

She was the wife of the late Harold S. Oliver who passed June 12, 1995.

Sandra graduated from Southern Huntingdon County High School and Shippensburg University. She was a Math teacher for 30 years. She taught one year at Central Dauphin Jr. High and 29 years at Gettysburg Jr. High School before retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Richvale United Methodist Church. Sandra enjoyed solving puzzles, watching sports and was an avid bingo player.

Surviving are her sisters, Shelby V. Goshorn, Blairs Mills, PA and Wanda K. Rowles (Bernard), East Waterford, PA, nephews, Chris O. Rowles and Randall Goshorn, nieces, Cheryl Barnes, Rhonda Mansberger and Angela Peterson, step-children, Harold Oliver, Jr., NJ and Marilyn Schulte, CA, nine step-grandchildren, 22 step-great-grandchildren and 13 step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother-in-law, William R. Goshorn and step-daughter Joan Robertson.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at Shade Valley Union Cemetery.
