Randy "Double R" Robbins died September 2, 2015 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. He was a retired Kentucky State Trooper, and Director of the (NHRA) National Hot Rod Association Safety Safari.

He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret (Kemp) Robbins, and his parents; Anthony and May Bell Robbins.

He is survived by his sister; Rosanna Dunaway, husband Robert of Elizabethtown, KY, a sister in law; Mary Jane Watson, husband Jeff of Bowling Green, KY, a brother in law; Steve Kemp of Dayton, OH, step children; Emily Crider, husband Jason, Michael Cash, wife Robin, five step grandchildren, three nephews; Nathan Dunaway, wife Brenda, Madison, MS, Todd, Dunaway, wife Casey, Glen Shaw, PA, and Shawn Dunaway, wife Danielle, Elizabethtown, KY, four great nephews; six great nieces, two great grand nephews, two great grand nieces, and a special friend Terri Diemer.

Visitation is Friday, September 4 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral is 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Visitation will begin after 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Bowling Green Gardens.
