Pat is survived by his brothers, Mike Myers, Henderson, NV; Tim (Anne) Myers, Fountain Valley, CA; Chris Myers, Pierce City, MO; Jeff (Christie) Myers, Pierce City, MO, sister-in-law, Mary Myers, Las Vegas, NV, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank Myers, Jr., Denver, CO; Marie Mildred "Millie" (Ketter) Myers, Iola, KS; and brother, John Myers, Pierce City, MO.
Pat was born May 23, 1953 in Iola, KS to Frank, Jr. and Millie Myers. He grew up in Iola, KS and graduated from Iola High School in 1971. He served in the Air Force from 1971-1975. Pat was proud of his service and was always supportive of veterans and those on active duty. Shortly after being discharged from the Air Force, Pat moved to Oklahoma City and began a long career in the supply industry working primarily with Rohan in Moore, OK; Sherman Machine in Oklahoma City, OK and American Waterworks Supply in Norman, OK. Except for a brief 2 year period in the early 90's, Pat worked for 29 years at American Waterworks Supply from 1984 through April of 2015. He became a respected member of the waterworks industry throughout Oklahoma.
Pat was a lifelong bachelor and avid fisherman; he particularly enjoyed fly fishing. He was a Mason; and enjoyed volunteering. He spoke often of visiting children at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Burn Center in Galveston, TX.
An committal service is scheduled for September 17, 2015 at 1:00 PM CDT, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Road, Springfield, MO 65804.
