Inscription
Beneath this stone are the remains of
ELLEN NEILSON, spouse of Thomas Gladstones,
merchant in Leith, who died July the 17th, 1806,
aged sixty-six years; also the remains of the said
THOMAS GLADSTONES, who died the
11th May, 1809, aged seventy-six years;
also the remains of
MARGARET GLADSTONES,
eldest daughter of the above, and spouse of
Peter Crowden, shipmaster, Leith,
died 3rd May, 1814, aged fifty-one years.
