Deloris Magline Baker, of Sandy Branch Road, Barbourville, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at her home. She was 68 years, 7 months and 21 days of age. She was born on November 23, 1942 in Clearfield, Tennessee to the late, Clarence Bennett and Edna (Gibson) Bennett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Baker; a son, Tony Bennett; and two brothers, Lee Bennett and Thomas Bennett. She was a member of Carpenter Baptist Church.

She is survived by five daughters, Edna Anderson and her husband Ronnie of Siler, Kentucky, Wonnie Carpenter of Corbin, Kentucky, Mary Butler of London, Kentucky, Kristy Baker of Corbin, Kentucky and Karen Mathews of Lily, Kentucky; one son, Jimmy Baker of Carpenter, Kentucky; three step-daughters, Peggy Murphy of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Deborah Kennedy and her husband John of Warner, Oklahoma and Judy Carpenter and her husband Dale of Barbourville, Kentucky; one step-son, Michael Baker of Oklahoma; 28 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; four brothers, Russell Bennett, Ray Bennett, Carl Bennett and Bobby Gene Bennett, all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Croley Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Jones officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Baker Cemetery in Carpenter, Kentucky.
