Frances Adkins Hundley, 81, of Bassett, VA, passed away at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville & Henry County. She was born in Philpott, VA, a daughter of the late James Adam Adkins and the late Lessie Mae Hollandsworth Adkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Shelburne A. Adkins. She worked for Bassett Walker Knitting Company for 12 years and was a homemaker for 25 years. She was a member of Bassett Church of the Brethren for 57 years where she was a member of the Women's Fellowship Circle. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Albert Hundley of the home; two daughters, Betty Gail Hundley Edwards of Bassett and Renee Hundley Bryant of Henry, VA; one sister, Rosa Pilson of Eden, NC; two brothers, Simmons Adkins and Alvin "Pete" Adkins, both of Collinsville, VA; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
