Alvin Robert Kalfell, nineteen year old son of Mr and Mrs G G Kalfell passed away last Friday at the state institution at Boulder where he had resided during the past twelve years. The remains were brought to Terry Sunday and funeral services held that afternoon from the Community church and interment made in the family lot at the Terry Cemetery.
A very consoling funeral sermon to the bereaved family was preached by Rev. G Koyker and vocal musical numbers were rendered by Mesdames W G Bartley and F N Weed with Miss Janet Williams at the piano.
Alvin Robert Kalfell was born at Miles City April 27, 1912, and until twelve years ago when he was taken to Boulder, a hopeless cripple, he resided at the family ranch near zero.
Though his death is a blow to the family and friends and acquaintances, in a measure it is a relief to the deceased.
Besides the parents, two brothers and three sisters remain to mourn the loss.
Pallbearers at the funeral were Malcolm Johnson,Virgil McNabb, Bernard Thomas,Fritz Weed, Allen Wasvig and Terry Young.
The entire community is extending sympathy to the Kalfell family in their loss.
