Marine Corp. William T. Wygal, 21, son of Mrs. Helen Wygal, of 340 Bloom St., Highland Park, and Army Pvt. John W. Connell, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Connell of 3008 Elim Ave., Zion, were wounded in fighting on Saipan, their families were notified yesterday, Wygal who previously had been shot in the cheek on Tarawa, was wounded on June 27, the day his mother received word that another son, Lawrence, 23, a first lieutenant in the army air forces, had been killed in a raid over Austria.
