Debbie was a native of Spartanburg County. She was a homemaker and attended Covenant Worship Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J. C. Skipper and Doshia Blackwell.
Debbie is survived by her husband, John Porter; a son, Joseph Cochran of Easley; her daughters, Tina Baxter of Cowpens and Gena Porter of Spartanburg; five grandchildren; her brothers, Paul Blackwell of Irondale, AL and Franklin Blackwell of Spartanburg; and her sisters, Jackie Vise of Spartanburg and Kellie Blackwell of Inman.
The graveside services will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery (formerly North Pacolet Baptist Church Cemetery) with Pastor Alan Ruff officiating.
