Steven John “Steve” Weber, 60, Wahkon, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis.
A memorial service was held Thursday, April 9, at Mille Lacs Lake Funeral Home in Isle with Rev. Joseph Boeringa officiating. Military honors were provided by the Onamia Veterans Club Honor Guard.
Steve was born June 15, 1946, in Minneapolis to Omer and Helen (Turk) Weber. He graduated from Robbinsdale High School and married Sandy Swenson. Steve served in the Infantry in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1965 to 1967.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Jeff of Ohio.
