She was born on March 13, 1955 in Bloomington, IL to R. Dean and Shirley A. Stevenson. She married Thomas Armstrong on June 28, 1996 in Pekin, IL.
Surviving are her children, Susan (Jeremy Michael) Reese of Las Vegas, NV; Keri (Michael) Smith of Dacusville, SC; Leslye Dowden of Houston, TX; Jawna Geidl of Minneapolis, MN; Garrett Armstrong at home; her mother Shirley Olson of Normal, IL; mother-in-law Lola Martin of Manito, IL; brothers Richard Burk (Connie Xanders) of Lexington, IL; Randall (Theda) Stevenson of Lexington, IL; half brothers Bradley and Grant Stevenson of Bloomington, IL; seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sons Neil Reese, Kyle Dowden, one daughter Jerika Brewer, one brother Rodney Burk, her father, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Cremation was accorded and burial of remains will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, IL. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is assisting the family with arrangements.
