Senator Thomas Frink was born late in 1775 to Jabesh Frink and Ruth Brewton Pinkney in Parish of Prince George, Georgetown District, South Carolina.
He married Rebecca Ann Gore, daugher of William Holden Gore Sr. and Mary Simmons on June 30, 1792 (at age 17) in All Saints Parish, Horry, South Carolina.
He was a member of the North Carolina General Assembly from 1812 until his death in 1836.
Served in the NC State House as a representative from Columbus County alongside Jonathan Hyde Pierce and Marmaduke Powell, and as a NC State Senator for 9 terms.
Died in 1836 before returning to office during his final term as a senator.
