William Bebout dies, Aged Resident of Atlanta succumbs to Creeping Paralysis.
Atlanta, Feb 13, - William Bebout died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E.M. Covington, last night, after a weeks illness of creeping paralysis. The deceased was born in Pennsylvania, November 1, 1827, but in 1854 he came to Illinois and has since made this state his home. Most of that time he has spent near Wapella. For twenty years of his life he made school teaching his profession and the remainder was spent on the farm. He was a member of the Christian church. One daughter, Mrs. E.M. Covington, two sons living near Heyworth, and one near Wapella survive.
Funeral services will be held at the home of his daughter in Atlanta, Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial at Heyworth.
