Burial will follow at Oakhaven Cemetery under the direction of the MMS-Payne Funeral Service and Crematory.

Daisy Imogene Anderson passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the age of 81.

The daughter of Alvin and Addie Davis Erwin was born November 7, 1933 in the township of Creek, just outside of Inola. As a young girl she was raised in the Inola area before moving to the Washington community.

It was there a few years later that she would meet Harvey Anderson. They married on November 8, 1949 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Shortly after their marriage they made their way to western Oklahoma. They lived there a short time before returning back to the Washington area.

For the next several years all her time was spent focused on her family. She did however work for a short stint at the Gateway Luggage Factory in Claremore.

However after all her children were old enough to take care of themselves, Daisy returned to work. She began working for Rogers County, working at the courthouse. She retired in 1996 after more than 15 years of service.

In her spare time Daisy enjoyed many things. Such as playing card games, like pitch and poker with her family, going fishing for crappie and catfish, playing bingo and going to the casino.

She also volunteered her time as a member of the Rebekka Lodge #22 at the Elks Lodge. However being surrounded by her family and friends was her favorite enjoyment.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Addie; husband, Harvey Anderson and siblings, Otis Erwin, Juanita Proctor and Ruth White.

Survivors include her children Rhonda and Tom Villareal of Grove, Connie and Gene Kellehan of Claremore, Bob and Melissa Anderson of Alluwe, Rod Anderson of Chelsea, Shelly and Mike Maggard of Chelsea, Cindy Anderson of Claremore and David and Rachel Anderson of Claremore.

25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild due in October.
