Carolyn M. (Haffner) Lynch, 78, of Danbury, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Glen Hill Health Care Center. She was the loving wife of the late John G. Lynch. Mrs. Lynch was born on November 5, 1936 in Queens, NY; a daughter of the late Karl and Margaret (Sinclair) Haffner.

She graduated from Bishop McDonald High School and had worked as an Administrative Assistant at Fordham Prep School. A resident of Danbury for the past 19 years since moving from the Bronx, Mrs. Lynch was a member of St. Gregory the Great Church of Danbury.
She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and to Foxwoods. She spent her spare time knitting and crocheting and she loved the time spent with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Lynch is survived by her children; John (Cathi) Lynch, Diane (Robert) Kelly and Katie (Vincent) Milazzo. In addition to her children, Mrs. Lynch is survived by eight grandchildren; Patrick, Nicholas, Matthew, Robby, Nathan, Ryan, Aiden and Amanda.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Seton Church; 520 Ridgebury Road, Ridgefield. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

Friends will be received on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 4 to 8 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield.
