Looking for death record, last found in 1850 Johnson Co. MO, Madison township which today would include Holden, Kingsville, Rose Hill and a portion of Chilhowee, and is near Cass and Henry county lines.
There was originally no regular cemetery laid out; the inhabitants buried their dead in what was known as the old burying ground, which is now occupied by the Holden public school in the southern part of town. When the Holden cemetery was plotted and recorded in 1869, about one hundred and twenty-five graves were removed from the old buring ground to the Holden Cemetery, many of those unknown.

Rose Hill Cemetery and nearby Bear Creek cemetery also have dozens of illegible markers and graves unmarked or with old fieldstones, his may be one of those.

ALERT: Some Ancestry FTs have Benjamin Graham born 1815 Warren KY, died Nov 3 1860, Johnson Co MO., son of William Graham and Leah Boyd, and who married Martha Sue Ellen Noble in 1832, ch inc dau Adelaid. Sources include the census records for Benjamin Leonard Graham. There are clearly errors in the Benjamin Graham trees.
