Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, in the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Gower for Frank B. Jeffries, 78, for Frank B. Jeffries, 78, who died Saturday, Nov. 22, in a St. Joseph hospital. Burial was in the Mount Auburn Cemetery, St. Joseph.

Mr. Jeffries, the son of Aaron Scott and Melissa Stallsworth Jeffries, was born Jan. 20, 1902, near Cainsville, and was reared in the Cainsville area.

In 1942, he was married to Addeline Moore. They lived in the Craig, St. Joseph, and Easton areas, and in 1955 moved to the Gower area where he had since resided.

He wife, Addeline, died Oct. 30, 1979.

Mr. Jeffries is survived by three daughters, Eva Crawford, Forest city, Frances McClain and Billie Stroud, both of Agency; two sons, Jim Jeffries, St. Joseph, and Ben Jeffries, Hermiston, Oregon; one stepson, Bob Pendleton, Easton; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
