A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He also was a member of S. Mary's Catholic Church.
He was born April 11, 1926, in St. Louis, to Fred and Eva Asbury Wittenbrink. He married Rose Cheslick, April 19, 1947, in Chester. Survivors include his wife; son, Mark; two daughters, Nancy Huston, and Cherie Ochoa; four brothers, Harold, Donald, Earl, and Fred; six sisters, Marguerite Howard, Lenora Wilson, Roberta Kimball, Barbara Ann Martin, Patricia Thornsberry, and Velda Moore; and five grandchildren.
Two brothers; and one sister, preceded him in death.
Burial Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church cemetery, in Chester.
